更新要点(Make the Most of March’s Release)
- 未注册用户的拒绝注释——机构现在可以为未注册用户添加第二个拒绝注释,这将允许向被拒绝访问数字资源的已注销和已登录用户显示不同的消息。
- Denied Note for Unregistered Users – Institutions can now add a secondary denied note for unregistered users, which will allow displaying a different message to logged out and logged in users who are denied access to a digital resource.
一、新的元数据编辑器
- 从3月版本开始,新的MD编辑器将作为所有Alma用户的默认打开元数据编辑器。新的MD编辑器增加了许多附加功能,包括如下:
Idea Exchange -从‘添加馆藏’菜单中添加新馆藏——现在可以在‘添加馆藏’菜单下添加新馆藏记录(除了在‘新建’菜单下添加新馆藏的现有功能之外)。这使得操作人员在创建新的馆藏时更加直观。
- Starting with the March Release the new Metadata Editor, starting from this will open as the default for all Alma users. A number of additional features have been added to the new MD Editor, including the following Idea Exchange item:
Idea Exchange – Opening New Holdings from the Add Inventory Menu – The ability to add new holdings was added under the Add Inventory menu (in addition to the existing ability to add them under the New menu). This makes it more intuitive for operators to create new holdings.
二、资源管理

- Improvements to the Community Zone Update Task List – The Community Zone Update Task List is used to display all changes that were made to your Community Zone activated electronic resources as a result Community Zone updates. It was enhanced to enable faster and more efficient access to data in the. This includes new access points, information fields, actions, as well as more filters and sorting abilities. All the new features apply to both the Review and All tabs.
三、用户体验

- Enhanced Library Calendar – The availability calendar in booking requests was enhanced to also reflect the times when the library is closed. This will help patrons to better understand when an item is available for booking.
- Idea Exchange – "所需日期"已过后请求取消功能的增强——超过了"所需日期"(由用户填写)的请求,只有在"从书架取书"工作流步骤中才会取消。此功能增强之后,在请求生命周期的其他工作流步骤中也将考虑此日期:在请求排队时、在单册的扫描期间以及在设置预约架到期时。
- Idea Exchange – Enhanced request cancellation after "date needed by" has passed – Requests past their “Date needed by”, which can be populated by the patron, were cancelled only when in the “pick from shelf” workflow step. Following this development, this date will also be considered in other workflow steps in the request lifecycle: While the request is queued, during scan-in of the item, and when setting hold shelf expiry.
- 使用Primo VE"我的账户"时刷新"关联账户"——在Alma中,当用户使用Primo VE "我的账户"查看借阅列表时,关联账户现在会刷新。通过刷新账户,不同的关联机构能够根据刷新的记录评估用户是否有续借资格。
- Refresh “Linked Accounts” when using Primo VE ‘My Account’ – In Alma, linked accounts are now refreshed when a patron uses the Primo VE My Account to view the loan list. Refreshing the accounts enables the differing linked institutions to assess the patron’s eligibility to renew a loan based on the refreshed record.
- SLNP请求的召回流程——使用简单库网络协议(SLNP)的借方的召回流程现在可以通过向SLNP合作伙伴中配置的电子邮件地址发送召回电子邮件来召回单册。
- Recall process for SLNP requests – The recall process for a lender that is using Simple Library Network Protocol (SLNP) can now recall items by sending a recall email to the email address configured in the SLNP partner of the borrower.
- 资源共享借阅的临时续期——在Alma中,当联系借阅者安排续借和新的到期日期的时候,现在可以通过可配置的短时间来延长或续借到期日期。
- Temporary Renew of a Resource Sharing loan – In Alma, it is now possible to extend or renew the due dates by a configurable short period while the lender is contacted to arrange a renewal and new due date.
四、本月云应用程序
- 新的云应用程序- "Change RS Request Type" ——此新添加的云应用程序支持将资源共享请求的请求类型从"book Request"更改为"article Request",反之亦然。
- New Cloud App – “Change RS Request Type” – This newly added Cloud App supports changing the request type for resource sharing requests from ‘book request’ to ‘article request’ and vice versa.
