About TomOS

TomOS is a simple 16 bit operating system for x86. It is based on MikeOS version 2.0.0. It is entirely written in the assembly language. TomOS is an educational project.

TomOS featuers:

  • Mouse support.
  • 8KB RAM available for applications.
  • FAT 12 support.
  • Approximately 90 system calls.

The code is completely open source (under a BSD-like license), and is written by Tomasz Gorol and other developers.

TomOS is a fork of MikeOS version 2.0.0
