I am unfortunately not informed of that.
A person informed in that area should answer, sorry.

Also, your site is private, so I suggest you to make your site public for others.

thanks for the prompt reply
following the procedure suggested in Mass Delete Tool > Installation for Firefox, I have download and install the add-on Greasemonk. Then I clik the Wikidot Extensions on UserScripts Mirror to open up the Wikidot Improved Editor and clik the install button on the top right corner as suggested and in the new pop-up window clik install button again. After all I open my wikidot Site manager (http://biocontest.wikidot.com/home) but I can't find nowhere the Mass Delete Tool.
Did I do something wrong or am I missing something?
Thank you

I suppose you just went through people with activity on Wikidot and accepted them, which included my friend. Thanks, leiger leiger .

Sorry, if Wikidot is removing the rel="me" portion of the link tag, there's not really a way to work around that.

I went through and reviewed the list and accepted as many people as I could after reviewing their activity.

If your friend was declined but would still like to join, please get them to re-apply and then let me know their username (as requested above).

Actually accepted... how?

That’s a LOT of people that got accepted into the Community Wikidot. Wonder how long they were waiting.

i fear all we can do is wait for project foundation because the guy who runs the entire site is too busy roleplaying with a chatbot to even add baseline standards like https. i really should see if i can contribute to that project actually. keep thinking about it but i never actually do anything </3

I have a friend who wants to join this but cannot because he already sent an application, which was the default application and was ignored even after my arrival and for a few other.

Is there a way that anyone can help get my friend on this site (this may need administrative help)?
Also, I would want to ask if admins ignore or decline applications that are spam or the default applications?

Should I (or my friend), instead, contact the admins for help?
If anyone have any suggestion, please tell me!

Hello Lukario_Dalmatian Lukario_Dalmatian ! I am an English person and I like reading, especially because the American education system has brainwashed me into being a well-rounded person in society, and your site has helped me and my friends in making my own site(s)!

I like the idea of role playing on Wikidot sites, unlike the many other platforms (if you know, you know), so this is a special occasion for people like me to come and exist and mark my words into the rocks.

I hope many more may see your post and go to your site and help! Maybe my friend may even see your post, since he is a very active person here, which I hope that he would take more breaks. But anyways, have a good day! Have a good time here and on your Wikidot!

THE TIME IS TICKING!

Hello!/¡Hola!

Let me introduce myself to you, I'm Lukario_Dalmatian, a beginner writer who loves the Containment Fiction genre.

Some time ago I created a Wiki (Completely in Spanish) that I would like to share with you (WARNING: IT IS NSFW (But it is well moderated and reduced to only writing))

I'd like to invite people here to join our Wiki and have fun, since our only interest is that you have fun writing…and…To improve this, we are aware of the existence of Roleplayers, so our Wiki allows Roleplay freely.

So don't wait any longer, join the Corporation and let your imagination run wild.

I want to ask anyone who knows if the administrators of this site, the Wikidot Community, ignores applications that are just the default application, or declines them.

My friend applied for membership at this site, but unfortunately, with the default application. And since, he has not been able to delete the application (if you could ever) and the Wikidot Community administrators have not declined the application (to knowledge).

I want to know if any admins declines spam/default applications or not. If you are an admin (may I find and be with luck’s side) and you can tell me what you do, please tell me! I am doing this on behalf of my friend. Thanks!

Edit 1: Should this thread be moved to another category? I’m kinda new to this stuff and I don’t know if this is the right category.

I have a couple of Mastodon accounts and these and countless other Fediverse sites use a very useful method for verifying account ownership. To quote:

Verifying your identity on Mastodon is for everyone. Based on open web standards, now and forever free. All you need is a personal website that people recognize you by. When you link to this website from your profile, we will check that the website links back to your profile and show a visual indicator on it.
Here's how
Copy and paste the code below into the HTML of your website. Then add the address of your website into one of the extra fields on your profile from the "Edit profile" tab and save changes.

The code for my own Cornovia Postcards profile is:

<a rel="me" href="https://social.vivaldi.net/@Vibracobra23">Mastodon</a>

The problem seems to be that in rendering the above code, Wikidot strips the rel="me" part, defeating the purpose of the code itself. If you take a look at the profile page for my Cornovia Postcards account on Mastodon at https://social.vivaldi.net/@Vibracobra23, you'll see that the eBid Profile and Linkstack links are both verified, whereas the Wikidot link isn't. I've left the verification link (as is) on the Wikidot website in question so that anyone can have a look. I've also tried it within the [ [ html ] ] block and the iframe strips everything. I also have a mastodon.social account and I know that Wikidot links don't verify there either.

I know that a lot of people use Mastodon, Pixelfed and other Fediverse sites these days and it would be very useful if people could verify their Wikidot sites. Does anyone know of a workaround that might work?

Thanks in advance.
