What on earth is it?
Permanent link

My Question : what is the idea behind permanent link ?

I would like to know the philosophy about such a "button"

If you click it, it gives you the url of that paticular post. I reckon it could be very usefull,if you wanted to point to a particular post somehow or other

for example, i might wish to point someone to a particular post, like this one, from a friend of mine.
KimBoosan

(if you look at the reply to this post, you will see the url has a different id number)

Do i see a new page in the Documentation about to be written?

Thanks, this was really helpfull!

means this - as long as the post ( or site-page or whatever )
will not be physically deleted (or moved is it the same effect ?):

than such a permanet link will lead directly to such a "thread-partially" page ?

Makes it clear !

But now the question is - where and under which title should this be explained?
Where would You search for such explanation?

Is there a glossar usefull?

Service is my success. My webtips:www.blender.org (Open source), Wikidot-Handbook.

Sie können fragen und mitwirken in der deutschsprachigen » User-Gemeinschaft für WikidotNutzer oder
im deutschen » Wikidot Handbuch ?

Well being as you have been so good as to add some documentation, I though i might do the same.

I was thinking… How to use the options buttons. In two parts. 1st: forum option buttons. 2nd. Page option buttons.
