Can you include part of a page on another page?
[[include]] part of a page in another page?

I know you can include a page on another page. I imagine it should be really simple to include part of a page on another page too but I can't figure out how.
The reason I would want to do this is to have a general "News" page where the first piece of latest news could be automatically included on my main page without having to replace it manually every time.

Hi,

I would suggest making a "news system" by using forums and the FrontForum module. This is how the wikidot.com main page news are created and it is very flexible. If you add an attribute limit=1 you will get just a single item.

That should work perfectly, and makes much more sense than the way I was trying to do it.
