Wikidot is NOT an online file storage

Wikidot is NOT an online file storage.
Such big files (for now) can be hosted at You… , box.net, or other.
Moreover, big files = large bandwith = additional cost for a still uncertain business like wikidot.
Definitely Not a priority.

granted gerdami. BUT»»
the doc says….

**Current site storage size: 3.93 MB used of total 300 MB, 296.07 MB still free

Max upload size: 10 MB**

so some poor sod who wants to unload a 8.5 meg doc spends effing ages trying to upload the bugger and cant figure out why.
nuff said?

Thanks, Phil. I would also appreciate more clarity on this issue (the 10MB "limit" is misleading, wasting people's time, and that's just not cool).

Users can now submit files as big as 10 MB.

If you're on Linux try this (this produces 10 MB file called 10MBfile filled with ASCII zeros):

head -c 10485760 /dev/zero > 10MBfile
