Our Sustainability Reporting
Sustainability reporting
In 2023 we combined our sustainability reporting with our Annual Report, which highlights our achievements in delivering for a net zero world, operating safely and delivering measurable positive impact for our people and our communities.
What is the Global Reporting Initiative?
Urenco reports into the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), an independent, international body that helps businesses, governments and other organisations understand and take responsibility for their economic and environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts by providing a global set of standards to measure those impacts.
The GRI standards are a set of interrelated reporting standards that enable organisations to report publicly on their economic and ESG performance. GRI standards represent the global best practice for sustainability reporting guidelines.
The GRI standards' main focus is materiality, which means those topics which are most relevant to our stakeholders and have the biggest impact on our company, and how our company impacts the environment and society.
