Construction of the Transnational Interregional Input-Output Table for the Asia-Pacific Region: A Feasibility Study(2021_1_40_006)

Outline

The International Input-Output Table (IIOT) is a major tool for analyzing the global value chain, which is becoming more complicated in recent years. However, the degree of involvement in the global value chain and the impacts caused by various external shocks differ across regions, even within a country. In order to enable the capturing of such regional disparities, this study explores the feasibility of constructing an up-to-date Transnational Interregional Input-Output Table (TIIO) for the Asia-Pacific region.
