Investment Policy and Investment Treaty Practice: Comparison between China and Japan (2019_2_40_012)

Outline

By conducting a comparative analysis of investment policies including investment treaty practices, this study attempts to identify both commonalities and differences between China and Japan. In comparing these two countries, differences in developmental stages and external environments are considered/controlled. In particular, the study considers whether there is a common investment strategy between China and Japan, and whether such can be regarded as an Asian development model.
