Global Development of Responsible Supply Chains and Japanese Companies(2018_1_40_009)

Outline
Recently, the discourse and practice of Responsible Supply Chains have been developing rapidly as seen in the legislation in Europe and the US and policy discussions in Asian countries. This research aims to interpret the discourse on responsible supply chains in global discussions, determine the impact thereof on Asian countries including the drafting of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics Sustainable Development Procurement Code, and investigate the practices of Japanese enterprises, as well as study the implications for Japan’s industrial and commercial policies.
