International Migration of Nurses: A Comparative Study of Filipino and Indian Nurses (2017_2_40_007)

Outline
The global mobility of nurses has significantly increased in recent years. The purpose of this research is to compare and contrast some aspects of the international migration of nurses from the Philippines and India. Specifically, this research aims to (1) examine the career development of nurses and the role of overseas employment in their career development, (2) analyze the determinants and processes of international migration, and (3) investigate the economic and social impacts of migration on households and countries that send nurses abroad.
