Vocational Education and Employment(2017_2_20_002)

Outline

This project aims to demonstrate through empirical analysis in Ethiopia and Ghana how vocational education in low-income countries makes young people more employable. Using original job-seeker data matched with administrative data on skill evaluation, we try to identify the contributions of the new type of vocational education in reducing the constraints that obstruct the effective matching of workers and employers.

Period
