  • When the room temperature reaches the set temperature, the air conditioner operates in breeze mode to prevent excessive cooling or heating. When the room temperature decreases or increases from the set temperature, the breeze mode is cancelled and the air flow volume increases. When the room temperature is stable and remains near the set temperature, the air flow volume may increase and decrease repeatedly.

Did this solve your problem? If not, please contact your nearest Daikin representative.

  • When the room is completely closed and the ventilation fan is operating or when strong winds are blowing outside, outdoor air can enter the drain hose and cause a bubbling sound. This phenomenon tends to occur in a well-sealed house or apartment.

Please try the following to see if there are any improvements:

    • Open the room vents if available
    • Open a window
    • Turn off the ventilator
    • Point the end of the drain hose in a different direction

    The sound is concerning
To control thumping and knocking sounds, a drain hose check valve can be used to prevent air from flowing indoors.
Please contact the installer of the air conditioner on how to attach the valve.

If you tried all of the above suggestions and notice no improvement, the cause is likely to be something else. Please contact either the installer of the air conditioner or Daikin to request an inspection.

Did this solve your problem? If not, please contact your nearest Daikin representative.

    • The indoor unit sometimes discharges the room odor remaining inside the unit.
    • Since a very small amount of ozone is generated during the Streamer air purifying operation, you may notice some odor at the air outlet. The amount of discharged ozone is extremely small and causes no health hazards.
    • If mould proof operation is performed and there is an increase in humidity, this may produce an odor.

Did this solve your problem? If not, please contact your nearest Daikin representative.

  • Do not use a commercial cleaning agent. Commercial cleaners may cause adverse effects on the resin parts of the heat exchanger or other internal components. In the worst case, problems such as water leaks can occur.

Did this solve your problem? If not, please contact your nearest Daikin representative.

    • (1) Operate the air conditioner in mould proof operation on a sunny day to let the inside of the unit dry thoroughly.

    • During heating operation, the outdoor unit melts accumulated frost and discharges it as water or steam.
    • During cooling operation, the pipes in the outdoor unit become cold and may cause water condensation. In such a case, condensed water can drip from the outdoor unit.

Did this solve your problem? If not, please contact your nearest Daikin representative.

  • Please refrain from using air conditioner, as water leakage can damage floors, the wall and other parts of your home and its furnishings.
Collect the water in a bucket or with a floor cloth until the leakage stops.

Please check whether water is being discharged from the drain hose outside.
Remove any obstructions that may be blocking the end of the drain hose.

    Water is not draining out
Obstructions and bends in the drain hose or other parts of the drainage path can cause malfunctioning.
Contact either the installer of the air conditioner or Daikin to request a service.

    Water is draining out
If the air filter in the indoor unit is dirty, it can lead to condensate forming which will leak from the air outlet; thus, it is important that you maintain and clean the air filter.
To view instructions on how to clean the air filter, please find your nearest Daikin business location to refer to the operations manual.

    • After the air conditioner starts operating, the sensor performs processing to determine whether people are present or not. This processing takes about 2 minutes. Please wait during this time.
    • The sensor may not detect small children or sleeping people because their movements are small.
    • A decrease in the sensor's recognition performance may occur when the room temperature is high.
    • If the human motion sensor does not detect people, move your hands side to side in a large motion in front of the indoor unit for more than 3 seconds.
    • Make sure that the human motion sensor is set to ON, and check to see if the flap moves to the left and right.
