Forests nurture the air, water, and living things. Forests provide us with many blessings.
Forests are "nature’s air conditioners," as their respiration contributes to
controlling the planet’s temperature and purifying the air.
However, against the backdrop of social issues such as poverty,
human-caused deforestation is on the rise worldwide.
That is why Daikin began working to protect
forests and pass them down to future generations in 2014.
In areas around the world where valuable forests are rapidly being lost,
we will contribute not only to measures against climate
change and to the preservation of biodiversity,
but also to providing support so that local residents can live their
lives while protecting forests, and to the realization of a sustainable society.
