Physics Minor

Minor Requirements

The minor in physics requires 5 courses, as described below.

Required Courses

All of the following:

• PHYS 125 - How Physics Sees the World and PHYS 125L
• PHYS 232 - Introduction to Mechanics and PHYS 232L
• PHYS 233 - Intro Electricity & Magnetism and PHYS 232L

Electives

• Two additional physics courses that count towards the physics major
  • at least one must be at the 300- or 400-level

GPA Requirement

A grade of C– or better in all courses that count toward the minor is required.
