Make the Road Safer with Our Glass Solutions for Sensors

With the emergence of autonomous vehicles, cars are being equipped with sensors designed to enhance our safety. The new trend for integrating them are moving towards higher positions, which is why AGC will be unveiling two exclusive solutions for LiDAR integration : a unique concept of integrating a LiDAR into an all-in-glass roof, and an appealing design for windshield sensor integration.

In addition to our LiDAR integration solution, AGC is also proposing a solution to optionally mount a FIR camera inside the windshield to provide functionality that complements the optical camera.

Wideye Panoramic All-in-glass Roof for Seamless LiDAR Integration

Imagine a Sleak LiDAR Integration in a Glass Roof

Wideye Panoramic All-in-glass Roof is a unique roof. Panoramic and all-in-glass, with smooth and rounded curves, it allows for efficient, reliable and discreet integration of a LiDAR.

It responds to the current trend for top-mounted sensors to enhance road safety.

Wideye All-in-glass Roof will give OEM design teams a new perception, paving the way to improve LiDAR roof integration and solve its numerous challenges.

Wideye Glass Solution for LiDAR Integration behind Windshield

LiDAR Integration in the Windshield Comes to Reality

Seen as the future of LiDAR integration, the windshield remained until recently a challenging place to mount sensors.

Wideye unveils its in-cabin sensor integration, which is featuring a high Field of View LiDAR co-integrated with multiple cameras behind the windshield. The design is appealing, coping with latest integration requirements in terms of form factor, performance and reliability.

Wideye Glass Solutions for 360°Sensor Integration

Wideye Glass Solutions for 360° Sensor Integration

Wideye has developed glass solutions for 360° sensor integration based on groundbreaking infrared-transparent glass featuring superior optical quality.

Our glass solutions can serve every place where a sensor can be installed: as vision glazing (windshield or backlite), as glass trims (roof, B-Pillar or fender), as glass to cover independent sensor modules (various positions around the car).

FIR Camera-compatible Windshield

A Safe Drive Secured in Dark Night

A special material that transmits far-infrared rays (FIR) is integrated into a section of the windshield to facilitate the "integrated mounting of a visible camera and FIR camera" on the inside of the windshield.

Compared to a FIR camera mounted around the front grille, a FIR camera integrated onto the windshield is less affected by preceding vehicles and obstacles. This integration enables early object detection due to its long range and wide field of view.
