ADB focuses on results management in its operations, improving the capacities of its developing member countries, and contributing to the global agenda on development effectiveness.

Leaner and Outcome-Focused: ADB’s New Results Framework for Sustainable Development

The framework, which will guide ADB's performance for the period covering 2025-2030, is aligned with the recently approved update of its corporate strategy —Strategy 2030 Midterm Review—ADB’s ambitious new road map to guide its evolution and scale up its support on key challenges facing Asia and the Pacific.

ADB applies a systematic approach to managing for development results (MfDR) to enhance effectiveness in delivering Strategy 2030 and its midterm review goals, advancing the vision of a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific.

The corporate results framework (CRF) serves as a key management tool, enabling ADB to measure, monitor, and assess its performance in achieving strategic goals.

ADB plays a pivotal role in supporting countries to achieve the SDGs by mobilizing resources, providing expertise, and fostering partnerships that drive sustainable development progress toward Agenda 2030.
