This report analyzes ADB’s 2023 development effectiveness performance and measures progress toward the achievement of Strategy 2030 priorities, using the Corporate Results Framework, 2019–2024.

Strategy 2030 identifies ADB’s operational priorities, focused on addressing the pressing development challenges in Asia and the Pacific. The 2023 Development Effectiveness Review is the 17th in a series of annual reports analyzing ADB's efforts to respond to the region’s challenges in line with its operational priorities. Focusing on operations financed by ADB, it assesses ADB’s development effectiveness, highlights actions ADB has taken to improve, and identifies further areas where ADB’s performance needs to be strengthened.
