We have an ElastiCache classic with cluster mode disabled created in one of our account, there I observed a service update in 'Not-Applied' state. Due to that it shows warning in the Cache version such as 'The engine update recommended date expired'. enter image description here

However on the other accounts we have the Cache clusters with same configuration but there the service update for engine-update was successful. I cannot be able to figure out what could be the reason. Have you encounter the same issue anytime? What could be the cause? What needs to be done in this case?

Thanks in Advance, Rambabu
