Details
- The default setting of Automatic for CoordinatesToolOptions is equivalent to {"CopiedValueFunction" -> Identity, "DisplayFunction" -> Automatic }.
- The functions given in CoordinatesToolOptions are applied to the raw {x,y} graphics coordinates.
- "CopiedValueFunction" specifies how the expression to be placed on the clipboard should be generated.
- "DisplayFunction" specifies how the expression displayed in the tooltip should be generated.
- "DisplayFunction"->Automatic specifies that the expression to be placed on the clipboard should be what is displayed.
- "DisplayFunction"->None specifies that no tooltip should be shown.
