The development version of the Linux Console Tools benefits from all the features of the stable version, and provides the following additional ones:

• Support for reading X11 BDF fonts, arbitrary (<32) width.
• Support for reading glibc (wg15) charmaps as ACM's.
• Support for the old CP font-file format, which had been dropped since quite a long time for implementation-details-related reasons.
• You can get a verbose description of the current font, including full character names.
• Presumably some more interesting bugs.
