Hi there, I'm Jo Bovy π
I'm an π astrophysicist π at the π University of Toronto π working on understanding π galaxy formation π and βοΈ dark matter βοΈ and on making astrophysics more accessible, robust, and reproducible by developing open-source, well-documented, and well-tested software packages for use in astrophysics and beyond.

- wendy: A one-dimensional gravitational N-body code
- kimmy: a Python package for galactic chemical evolution (also available in javascript form!)
- apogee: Tools for dealing with APOGEE data
- gaia_tools: Tools for working with the @ESAGaia data and related data sets
- mwdust: Tools for dealing with dust extinction in the Milky Way
- extreme deconvolution: Density estimation using Gaussian mixtures in the presence of noisy, heterogeneous and incomplete data
