Description

This pull request focuses on enhancing the project's build stability and consistency. It involves updating several internal Flutter dependencies to their most recent states and, crucially, pinning these dependencies to specific commit hashes. This change guarantees that all development environments will use identical dependency versions, mitigating potential 'works on my machine' issues. Additionally, the .gitignore file has been adjusted to correctly exclude new Flutter build-related files.

Type of Change

  • ✨ New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
  • 🛠️ Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • ❌ Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to change)
  • 🧹 Code refactor
  • ✅ Build configuration change
  • 📝 Documentation
  • 🗑️ Chore

Summary of Changes

Hello @fulleni, I'm Gemini Code Assist1 ! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

Highlights

  • Dependency Updates: Multiple internal Flutter dependencies, including auth_api, auth_client, data_api, and ui_kit, have been updated to their latest versions, as reflected in pubspec.lock.
  • Dependency Pinning: All git-based dependencies in pubspec.yaml are now explicitly pinned to specific commit hashes using the ref field. This ensures consistent builds by preventing unintended updates from HEAD references.
  • Gitignore Enhancements: The .gitignore file has been updated to include .flutter-plugins and .flutter-plugins-dependencies, preventing these Flutter-specific build artifacts from being committed to the repository.

Code Review

This pull request updates project dependencies and improves build reproducibility by pinning git dependencies to specific commit hashes in pubspec.yaml. This is a positive change that prevents inconsistencies across different environments. My review includes a suggestion to use git tags instead of commit hashes for pinning, which would further improve the maintainability and readability of the dependency configuration. The changes to .gitignore and pubspec.lock are appropriate and consistent with the dependency updates.
