@zonuexe @eiel 互換性の問題もあってか、特にどちらがいいというのはないようですね。
ただ最近だと .emacs.d/init.elの方が良いように思えます。他のものも .emacs.dディレクトリに
インストールされることも多いですし。ただ既に .emacsとか .emacs.elというのを使っている
人も多いと思いますので、併記しておく形でも問題はないと思います。
