@rquadling could you merge this PR?
PHP 8 support is now in master, same for PHP 8 on Travis CI. CI also now running on Github.
I'll close this PR as this is covered now.

Just checking if travis has php8 yet, otherwise adding the suggestion to ignore its failures.
