A simple framework for dynamically generating the Message Of The Day (motd)
Framework and scripts for producing a dynamically generated Message Of The Day. Based on and compatible with the framework implemented Ubuntu.

Any new development should be done on main and any bug fixes can be cherry-picked back.
The update-motd package first shipped with Amazon Linux AMI 2011.9 (now
known as Amazon Linux 1) back in 2011. It enabled the message of the day that
is displayed upon logging into an Amazon Linux instance to contain a reminder
of what security updates could be applied.
