WikiProject Data Visualization is a WikiProject about data graphics on Wikipedia.
Goals

- Expand : Adding relevant data graphics to articles if they are useful (see e.g. Category:Health by country and c:Category:Our World in Data)
- Update : outdated data graphics that are used in articles (see c:Category:Wikipedia updating and e.g. c:Category:Charts showing data through 2010)
- Verify :
- Making sure only data graphics with solid data sourcing are being used (see e.g. c:Help:Misinformation, especially the links to scans in it)
- Making sure data graphics have proper referencing if sourced from elsewhere

- Further activities :
- Creating requested data graphics and new data graphics using existing data sources
- Helping each other in creating data graphics (see the Talk page and the resources links below)

- Possibly various things related to the new Charts extension – see tool graphDataImport and User:GraphBot
- Technical development, bug reporting & ideas relating to data graphics (e.g. issues of OWIDImporter and scripts & extensions like the above)

- PubMed allows exporting results as csv with the "Download CSV" button in the top right for number of studies per year for the query.
- Free tools to create data graphics with (e.g. from csv files) include kst, Gnuplot, LabPlot, (add more here)

- c:User:RCraig09/Excel to XML for SVG, paste or enter your data into the spreadsheet which can then generate a column of XML code which you can save as an ".svg" file
