This template exceeds the post-expand include size limit . Some references and templates may not render properly on this page. Relevant discussion may be found on the talk page. (December 2025)
Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

This template should be used to tag pages that exceed the post-expand include size limit for templates. Such articles should be reduced to a size below this limit as soon as possible, as this will cause templates at the bottom of the page (typically references) to appear only as a link to a template. By default, the first parameter is set to be the section of the talk page discussing the issue.

This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Articles with broken citations from PEIS limit or a dated subcategory thereof unless |nocat=yes.

Usage

[edit ]

{{Citations broken from PEIS limit|date=December 2025}}

  • |1= or |section= should be the section of the talk page where discussion is taking place
  • |2= replaces "talk page"
  • |date= should be set to the month and year the template was applied

Note

[edit ]

When using this template, consider replacing {{reflist }} in the article with <references />, which can often allow at least some of the references to appear.
