First generation ?

I'm not sure that I agree with the first generation comment - surely Inertial Navigation (gyroscope and stopwatch) was the first generation of guidance for missiles ? Some random IP made the changes (also to SACLOS and Fire and Forget. Before I revert does anyone have any comments ?
