Method: users.messages.attachments.get

Gets the specified message attachment.

HTTP request

GET https://gmail.googleapis.com/gmail/v1/users/{userId}/messages/{messageId}/attachments/{id}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
userId

string

The user's email address. The special value me can be used to indicate the authenticated user.
messageId

string

The ID of the message containing the attachment.
id

string

The ID of the attachment.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of MessagePartBody .

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://mail.google.com/
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly
