This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2020.
The DocumentTimeline interface of the Web Animations API represents animation timelines, including the default document timeline (accessed via Document.timeline).
Constructor
DocumentTimeline()-
Creates a new
DocumentTimelineobject associated with the active document of the current browsing context.
Instance properties
This interface inherits its property from its parent, AnimationTimeline.
AnimationTimeline.currentTime-
Returns the time value in milliseconds for this timeline or
nullif it is inactive.
