AI-Powered Modeling Gets an Upgrade: Text to Process V2 in SAP Signavio Lab Space

Introduction: Text to Process is an AI-powered capability within the SAP Signavio Process Manager that automatically transforms textual process descriptions into BPMN diagrams.
Users can simply describe a process including activities, tasks, start and end points in natural language, and the system generates a process model that can be further refined in the SAP Signavio Process Manager editor and enriched with entries from the shared Dictionary.

Availability:

The Text to Process feature is also available free of charge in the SAP Signavio Lab Space, where users can explore and test it hands on. Recently, the setup in the Lab Space has changed there are now two versions available for testing.

What’s New: The Two Versions

Text to Process – Version 1
The first version of Text to Process provides a basic environment to experiment with process diagram generation. While it allows users to experience how AI converts textual descriptions into BPMN diagrams, it does not yet support a direct transition to the SAP Signavio Process Manager editor and does not include Dictionary integration.
The generally available (GA) version, however, goes beyond these limitations offering direct handover to the Process Manager editor, integration with the SAP Signavio Dictionary, access through SAP Business AI Units, and activation via your workspace administrator.

Text to Process – Version 2
The second version of Text to Process represents an experimental enhancement of the initial release. It supports the generation of more complex processes and allows for larger text inputs, providing greater flexibility for advanced modeling scenarios. Designed for continuous improvement through user feedback, Version 1 & 2 also include a Like button for quick user input after each diagram generation a feature that resets with every new model created.
