@lmacmil 47 minutes of awake/restlessness isn't too bad. I wonder how that is compared to men in your age range. I just realized, are you getting the number of times awake with the sleep stage graph? ... View more

Awake only 3 times? Or 3% of the time? Also, restlessness is scored in percentage so do you mean 7 or 8%? Personally, I've been doing my sleep tracking since December 2021 and find the information very helpful to objectively gauge my sleep for the day or week. Plus I like comparing to my own averages and the benchmarks. And if I had only a fair rating one night, I try to make up with a good one the following. Here's what my awake and restlessness looked like for last night. ... View more

I must say that I've been using the Google Pixel Watch for the last two weeks and the inaccurate floor count does not exist on it. During my last month on my Sense I was getting anywhere from 315 floors to 567 floors per week, yet I live on a single-floor house and work on the 3rd floor. While I do take the stairs at work, it's not like I'm constantly taking them during my 12-hour shift. During my two weeks with the Pixel Watch I've clocked a much more accurate 37 and 34 steps for the week. ... View more

@SunsetRunner @DVIUS Do either of your apps take heart rate into account or are they just going by steps, sex, age, height, and weight? I think heart rate is the reason why Fitbit estimates it to be higher then those apps. ... View more
@DogSpaniel Welcome to the Fitbit community. What are your settings? I can get 4 whole days with these settings: Brightness dim, screen wake motion and button, always-on display off, snore & noise detection off, SpO2 on. The biggest battery drainers, especially overnight, are the snore & noise detection and SpO2, but more so the snore & noise. With it on, I lose around 20% over 7 hours of sleep. With that option off, I only lose around 6-8% over 7 hours of sleep. I had it on for over a week and I don't snore and noise is minimal so it wasn't worth the drain. If I turned off SpO2 I would definitely get 5-6 days. I keep that on because it's part of the health metrics. ... View more

@OldGrandad Open the Fitbit app, tap the sleep tile, tap the gear :gear: icon in the top right corner, snore and noise detection should be at the bottom. As for determining bedtime, it's been very accurate for me and my use. I usually glance at the time before going to bed and it'll start my sleep around 5 minutes or so from that time. Remember they do say the following: When your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your Fitbit device records that you’re asleep. If you are moving a lot in the first hour, it will state a later start. ... View more

@Clove6060 Wow that's a crazy fast drain. I can't even do that with an outdoor GPS workout. I do have the latest updated and opted for the AFib detection a few days ago but haven't noticed any battery drain issues. I'm also currently running Android 13 Beta on my Pixel 6 Pro which has its own issues with Bluetooth connection but I seemed to have fixed them this morning. ... View more

@loko123 Welcome to the Fitbit community. A couple common issues is the charger is either physically damaged (pins are stuck down or missing) or the connection isn't good. The second one is an easy fix. I just wipe the pins (clean way is with an alcohol wipe, dirty way is saliva on a finger) and it get it fast charging. Top pic wasn't wiped. Bottom pic was. You can see the difference in the Watts and the Amps This is a pic of my charger pins which are all clean and up. ... View more

@jigglyjawa If you were getting blinded by the LEDs on the underside of the device, it sounds like it was too loose. It should be snug yet comfortable. @CpJ678 Welcome to the Fitbit community. I usually only get only a dozen or so extra steps at most overnight. Do either or both of you have MobileTrack setup on the Fitbit app to track steps with your phone? If yes, I believe it tends to sync overnight. And that has caused spikes in step counts. Open the Fitbit app, tap your account icon in the top left, check if you have MobileTrack as a device. If you do, tap it and then tap the trash :wastebasket: ️ in the top right. ... View more

@Danni73 Welcome to the Fitbit community. Sleep tracking is actually probably the one thing the Sense still does very well. I've never been shorted in my hours and the start and end times are usually within 5 minutes of the last time I looked at a clock and the first time on waking. How long have you been using it? Give it a weeks worth and see if the sleeping issues fix itself. I use my Google Assistant all the time just fine. Are you all set with your Assistant setup and does it say active? I also get alerted of all the notifications I want. What I did notice is the Sense will follow the phones mute and do not disturb settings. So what I did it turn on "Always vibrate" and I never miss a notification. Only time I don't want notifications is when I'm sleeping so I use the sleep mode on the Sense. ... View more

@Alyciarae413 Welcome to the Fitbit community. Are you able to restart it by long pressing the side button for about 8 or more seconds? If you still get stuck on the same screen, try factory resetting it with this method. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. When the Fitbit logo disappears: Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset. ... View more

@cjg2teach Welcome to the Fitbit community. You most likely set up your premium subscription through the app store or Google Play Store. Depending on if you're on an iPhone or Android. Go to the store that you have and look for the subscriptions area. You should see Fitbit Premium there. You can cancel at any time but still have premium until the date it shows. @Shmulikg770 There must be some kind of connection or syncing issue. I would try delete the Sense from the Fitbit app and adding it again or even factory resetting it. Although, mods here are quick to say only factory reset if customer support tells you too. I can get 4 whole days with these settings: Brightness dim, screen wake motion and button, always-on display off, snore & noise detection off, SpO2 on. If I turned off SpO2 I would definitely get 5-6 days. I keep that on because it's part of the health metrics. I average around 10-12% battery used in 12 hours and 20-25%. All depends if I do an indoor workout without GPS. 2 hours of outdoor workout with GPS used 15% which averages to 7.5% per hours which would technically get 13.3 hours on 100% battery. That's more than the advertised 12 hours. Currently I'm at 48% and I was at 90% on Friday at 5 AM. ... View more

@Twinz2 Welcome to the Fitbit community. I didn't have an Ionic but the Sense definitely charges quick, when the connection is good. Just giving you a heads up but I think most, if not everyone, experiences a "Slow charging" notification eventually. If that happens, just give the charger pins a clean wipe, alcohol pad will do, and the connection should be good. Top is a poor connection and the bottom is a good connection. You can tell by the low watts, 0.378w vs 1.172w. The only difference is a wipe. When it's fast charging and I have a <15% battery, I can get gain around 50% (so end with around 60%) in only 20 something minutes. I do that when I shower and get ready. ... View more

@SleepyxEquus Well, the floor count doesn't affect the activity or calorie count. It is unfortunate that it's so inaccurate though. I would take the recall deal and if you really don't want to use the Sense, sell it. There are recent rumors of a new Luxe 2, Versa 4, and Sense 2 in the works. The codenames are in the Fitbit app coding. One would hope the shortcomings in the heart rate and floor count along with new features would get fixed with a new version of the watch. ... View more

@Hornet1455 Keep in mind most battery claims for devices are in ideal conditions and are more of a maximum battery life rather than an average. @RichInArizona I asked because of this response by a moderator: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Sense/Sense-is-counting-too-many-floors/m-p/4020487/highlight/true#M34968 I work in a hospital and I had very high counts, even hitting 100 floors and more, on days where I was in and out of a lot of rooms especially when my unit was a negative pressure unit. But any of these reasons listed are possible ways for the high count. In general, it definitely over counts even when I'm just at home and I live in a single-floor house. ... View more
