My experience is quite the opposite. When compared to my Polar 9 chest strap, the charge 6 tends to double my heart rate when resting. It is however more accurate when exercising, often within 5pm of the Polar device. The inaccuracy in resting rates causes other metrics to be quite meaningless. ... View more

Thanks for your reply. So I guess even if the Charge 6 has Indoor Climbing, that wouldn't sync either. Too bad. ... View more

I'm 63 (male) in OK shape (Cardio Fitness 45). I have a Charge 5 and have a hard time believing the HR reading when I run. It seems accurate when I bike, but totally off when I run. I always wear my watch on the left wrist (non-dominant). I thought I should try the left wrist and here's the difference: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7Ps4JQ3LX61yqQVj7 Left wrist - 5:56/km pace - 169 bpm Right wrist - 5:36/km pace - 159 bpm At 63, I doubt very much that I can hit the 180s. Here's a typical bike ride. That seems more like the way it should be if I disregard the 194 peak. Any thoughts? https://photos.app.goo.gl/QSdKRpWaLoYD8KKRA ... View more

I would return it and get a different device. Customer service has been terrible with this issue, including for those of us still under warranty. ... View more

I know I'm responding a few years too late, but just in case you haven't fixed this problem / for any looking up the fix right now. I've found going to the settings of your FitBit app and disabling notifications will fix this issue. If you wish you can unblock them again and it should be gone. Does it come back? Good question I haven't got that far yet. But it definitely did the trick for now, and come to think of it I think my notifications have been blocked for the past 2 years, so it's not a coincidence that when I turn them back on I get the issue. Hope that helps! P.S. FitBit you might wanna get on this if you aren't trying already. This might turn people who judge quickly away from your products, since it's one of the first things they see in the app. I say that with love! - Lyre ... View more

Thanks @MarreFitbit , I was very happy to get my replacement in less than 24 hours after I filled out the form. I've always said that I liked the Versa 2 very much and I am more than willing to help improve the product in any way I can. I am also very impressed with the support I get from Fitbit. I read a lot of negative comments and I wonder if I should just stop following the different forums. I don't like to see all that negativity... Thank you all for your help, Pierre ... View more

Got the distance right this morning. Can someone explain to me the 34'43" Low Pace? I know the 4'45" Pace is accurate. Unfortunately... 🤣 ... View more

Mine will just randomly stop synching with my phone. The app says there is no paired device. I have to delete the fitbit and re-add it. I love my Versa2, but this is really annoying. ... View more
Thanks @RicardoFitbit for the suggestion. I guess I could try it. This would work well when I go for brisk walks, but it would mess up the data for my every day walking, wouldn't it? Too bad we cannot select the minimum speed required to get the exercise app started. It seems that it would make more sense to me. ... View more

I'm very sorry. I just saw your message this morning. I should have posted an update. I ended up using Chat with Fitbit Support to help me. It's all good now. We basically used similar steps for fix the issue with my Pixel 3a. Thanks for trying to help. ... View more

Excellent! I don't want to go crazy over Firbit stats, but it's nice to understand how they work. Thanks again. ... View more
I keep experimenting... I went for a walk and decided to get the Exercise app running half way through. It only mapped the last portion of my walk and it uploaded it to Strava as well. Strangely enough, the 1st portion of my walk doesn't appear anywhere. I decided to go for a run later. Didn't touch the watch at all. Within seconds I had a map ready and Strava notified me that my run was uploaded. I guess I just need to get the Exercise app going if I want to have a map other than my runs. I really wish there was an option for x-country ski... ... View more
