My daughter wants a Fitbit for Christmas. She wasn’t crazy about how the tracker styles looked, so I settled on a Versa 4, but not I’m wondering if it’s too fitness focused for a 10 year old. She wants to be able to track simple things like steps and everyday metrics. I looked at the Ace LTE but I’m not sure about all of the games that come with it as I don’t want her to get too caught up on a screen and constantly checking her progress. It also feels like she might age out of that in a couple of years. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hi, @aahana! If you're in the US, your child can't have any of the non-children Fitbits - i.e., it needs to be the Ace, if you sign up for the account by telling Google/Fitbit your child's age. Under 13 has different restrictions. If you're in another country, the same rules apply but with the relevant age there. This may factor into your decision.

@MakMak Thank you for your help .

@aahana A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.

As our friend @MakMak mentioned. The trackers designed for young users (minors) are the Ace Serie.
If you are afraid of the screen time of your daughter, you can also have a look at the Ace 3 or previous Ace models.
