To get to Okutadami from Tokyo, you can travel by car or bullet train. If you use the bullet train, please come to JR Urasa Station. From JR Urasa Station, there are local buses that run on weekends, although the service varies depending on the season, with about two buses per day. Taxis are also available. You can rent a car at Echigo Yuzawa Station. If you are coming by car, please access via the Kan-Etsu Expressway's Koide Interchange.

If you are coming by bus or car, please use the municipal parking lot at Okutadami. From the parking lot, you can see the Okutadami Dam right in front of you. The boat tour boarding area is about a 10-minute walk away. If you take the famous Okutadami slope car, you will arrive in about 5 minutes. At the Okutadami Lake House, which is adjacent to the parking lot, you can enjoy both meals and sweets.
