Description: In this session, the speaker Elisabeth Mena explains to the investigator how to weave traditional fans made up of coconut leaves. The specific type of fan shown in the video recording is called teglu in the language. Traditional fan-weaving is a type of activity which is no longer practiced in the community, as younger generations are less inclined to learn traditional weaving techniques. This text falls somewhere in between a procedural text and a conversation between the two participants. The session takes place at the speaker's place.
Valentina Alfarano is the principal investigator of this project.
