Babcock & Wilcox and Denham Capital Announce Strategic Partnership to Convert Existing Coal Plants to Power Data Centers in the U.S. and Europe

B&W announced today the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Denham Capital’s Sustainable Infrastructure arm to jointly pursue opportunities to generate power to support the increased demand from data centers in the U.S. and Europe. This will include technologies for coal power generation or natural gas conversion projects as well as back-end environmental technology.

B&W announced today that we issued a notice of redemption (the "Redemption Notice") for 70ドル million aggregate principal amount outstanding of our 8.125% Senior Notes due 2026 (the "Notes"), which were issued pursuant to an indenture, dated as of February 12, 2021, as supplemented by the First Supplemental indenture, dated as of February 12, 2021 (the "Indenture"), between us and The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A., as trustee.
