APEGGA has about 6,000 Members-in-Training (MITs). Members-in-Training are
those individuals who have met the academic requirements and now require four
(4) years of acceptable experience to qualify for registration.

Member-in-Training (MIT) do so as either an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or as
a Geologist-in-Training (Geol.I.T.) or Geophysicists-in-Training (Geoph.I.T.).
Their goal is then to meet qualification requirements.
