Online edition of my book on the history of the Star of David
In this online edition, like in the printed book, each article appears exactly in its right place according to a chronological sequence of events - in difference from the blog where articles are organized by the date I uploaded them to the WWW

Second Placement on Google Results Page
An article about my new book in English (Star of David Album) arrived at the Second Placement on Google Results Page for query words: “Star of David” book. In a day or two it will surely disappear, and I’m not sure that it will make someone purchase the book, but meanwhile it makes me feel fine and that’s certainly enough.

With A Little Help From My Friends
Currently I’m designing my new book and above you see its opening page. My Friend Dvorit Ben Shaul said that it looks like a Star of David. You have to imagine a triangle that goes down from the apex (to the word “no” on the left and to the word “or” on the right) and another one that goes from bottom to the edges of the book’s name.
It seems like I’m so absorbed in this emblem that it influences my page designs subconsciously…

Next Book Front Cover
My dear old friend, Aran Patikin, is working on the design of my next book’s front cover. This is only the draft – it will look much better eventually. I bring it to you in order to share with you the deep delight of each stage in the birth of a new creation.

My brand new Hebrew Book
My brand new Hebrew Book is based on my Hebrew blog
http://magendavidalbum.blogspot.com/
It’s about the meaning of the Star of David, it’s history, it’s usages in daily life and in arts in various cultures, and it includes a chapter about the yellow badge.
Soon I hope to publish an English version…

The Back of My Book
Yesterday I brought home the first chapter of my Hebrew book titled Star of David Album. It was only a pilot to see how the whole book will look like. This chapter, Pictorial History, contains 44 pages with 66 photos starting from 2700 B.C.E until 1948. The whole book will have more than 300 pages and more than 500 photos. Soon I'll publish the whole book, but only on a CD, since the resolution of most of the photos is too law for book printing.

Recycling Micro Contents
Here are a few updates:
Till now I wrote two chapters in English:
The Origin of the Star of David
Christian Star of David
In Hebrew I published on my Hebrew blog the following chapters
1. The origin of the Hexagram
2. The meaning of the Hexagram
3. The Hexagram in other cultures
4. Prominent persons in the history of the Magen David
5. Star of David products
6. Logos, coats of arms and city emblems
7. Mapping of Star of David appearances in art
I also broke into postings Asher Eder’s book about the Star of David, added images to each posting, and scattered them between my other postings. In other words I converted a book into a blook. I’ll be happy to know if there are others who made such a conversion …
