- Description: OGRE (Object-Oriented Graphics Rendering Engine) is a scene-oriented, flexible 3D engine written in C++ designed to make it easier and more intuitive for developers to produce applications utilising hardware-accelerated 3D graphics. The class library abstracts all the details of using the underlying system libraries like Direct3D and OpenGL and provides an interface based on world objects and other intuitive classes.

- Description: The system, dAb, provides the user with the traditional tools of a painter. This setting, conceptually equivalent to a real world painting environment, allows anyone to control a virtual brush as he or she would a real brush.

- Description: Hypercosm is a system for creating and deploying web based 3D simulations. The Hypercosm system uses a high level 3D scripting language that makes it relatively easy to create simulations with complex interactivity, dynamic behavior, and physics. These simulations are compiled to small easily downloadable applets that can run standalone or in a web page where they can be integrated with Javascript, Flash, and other web technologies. To run Hypercosm simulations in a browser, users must first install and ActiveX based player. Development tools include a simple scripting IDE called Hypercosm Studio and an exporting tool called Hypercosm Teleporter. Hypercosm Teleporter is available for 3ds Max and for Google SketchUp. Free and commercial versions of these development tools are available from Hypercosm at www.hypercosm.com .

Van der Waals, surface accessible to solvent (SAS), molecular electrostatic potential (MEP), hydropathicity surface (ILM), molecular lypophilicity surface (MLP), etc.
MacGLide

- Description: MacGLide is a shared library for Apple Macintosh computers that emulates 3Dfx Voodoo Graphics hardware. It makes it possible to run games originally made for 3Dfx/Glide without the hardware by translating Glide-function calls to OpenGL.
DevIL is used by MacGLide to replace original in-game textures with high-resolution replacements at runtime
