Although I do not really understand you completely, conceptmaps like cmap tools is looking to ontologize their content. Others need to review the value of this effort. Interesting however is the lack of tools with easy UI for domain experts to elicitate their knowledge. If only ontologically baptized domain experts can provide the ontology community with knowledge, considering that most domain expert today have not always found their way to the advances of collaborative efforts over the internet. Having followed the discussions on the use of or fear of use of the word concept during ontology engineering , what are valuable alternatives for tools such as cmaptools during knowledge elicitation?
