I know absolutely nothing about dbf databases. I looked in the help file &
was able to figure it out. Had you not indicated which file to go to I would
be waiting for the next update.

I could too... Being a programmer by trade.... But most would not know
how... In, in fact, not being particularly familiar with DBF databases,
would have to do some research myself.

I used Tools/advanced/Database commands.

Seems to me it might be time to consider allowing an edit on the URL in
setup to simplify such things...

Subject: [Logic] QRZ database URL change and fix
I sent this email just a moment ago to DBA:
"Today, I discovered that the QRZ database was no longer accessible from
LOGic 6 using the URL that you programmed into it --
http://qrz.com/details/ (call). I tried a sample URL string using my own
callsign in an IE browser window, and got a no-server-found response. On
a hunch, I added the server prefix "www." to the URL, and it worked
fine. Apparently they have decided to use the qrz.com domain for
protocols other than HTTP, and pushed through a DNS change today to no
longer recognize packets routed to just plain "qrz.com".
"To fix this, I did a GREP on the files in the LOGIC directory for
"qrz.com" and located /data/web_callbooks.dbf. I opened this file using
a shareware DBF editor and edited the record to include the "www."
prefix in the URL, saved the file, and launched LOGic 6. Callsign lookup
via QRZ now works again.
"You might want to post the fix (or an updated web_callbooks.dbf) ASAP
for those "less enterprising" hams. <vbg> I know a lot of guys use that
QRZ lookup."
