And as you can see, I am not the only one that is forced to do this. It
should to be needed!
I knew how to change it but do not think I should have to. I have gotten
more than one QSO over the years with time off by an hour. Not good for
QSLing.

Sure. Go to SETUP where you have your station information such as lat/long
etc. UTC offset hours are changed there and thanks for the reminder to
change mine.
