On a related note, my motherboard clock is really poor. So I use a little
program called D4 Time that you can download from THINKMAN.COM. If you
are using Windows XP it wants to set your computer clock once a week at an
unknown time. Hopefully you are on the internet when that time happens.
Otherwise there are a couple of places to shut of it's taking over of that
port on your computer so you can use D4 Time.
1: Right click on the time in the lower right corner of the screen, choose
Adjust Time, Internet Time, uncheck "Automatically syncrhonize..."
2:Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services, Windows Time. Click STOP,
Startup type: Disabled.
Thats it.
PS. My UTC Offset did not change at Daylight changeover.
