Interesting Space Links

Here are some interesting space links for today:
  • Space.com has an interesting article on the top ten and top one hundred people who have made a difference in the space program over the last ten years.

An interesting excerpt: "'Truth and technology will triumph over bullshit and bureaucracy.' That oft-repeated quote by Rene Anselmo was both motto and battle cry for PanAmSat, the commercial satellite services company he founded in 1982. With extraordinary vision, an in-your-face style and the determination to do whatever it took to gain a foothold in the satellite business, Anselmo almost single handedly shattered Intelsat's global monopoly on satellite communication services."
  • The Congressional Budget Office has released their report on NASA's new Exploration Plan announced by President Bush.
  • Also, a competition to promote the development of space elevators has started.
