Delegation from Fergana State University Visits BSU
A delegation from Fergana State University of Uzbekistan visited Baku State University (BSU) to discuss potential areas of collaboration.
The meeting was attended by BSU Vice-Rectors Farda Imanov, Guseyn Mamedov, and Shahin Panakhov, along with Rauf Gasanov, Head of the International Relations Department. Representing Fergana State University were Vice-Rector Sharof Shukhratov and Chief Specialist of the Department of Strategic Development and International Rankings, Zhovhar Museyibzada.
During the meeting, the BSU representatives provided the guests with an overview of the university’s history, structure, academic programs, and research initiatives. It was highlighted that BSU maintains strong partnerships with leading universities in Uzbekistan.
The Fergana State University delegation shared insights into their institution’s key areas of activity and strategic priorities.
Discussions focused on strengthening scientific and academic ties between the two universities, including the implementation of double degree programs, joint doctoral training, and the organization of scientific conferences.
The meeting reinforced the commitment of both institutions to fostering academic collaboration and advancing higher education partnerships.
