A protocol on academic cooperation in the field of science and education has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Uskudar University of Turkey. The protocol was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Uskudar University Rector Nazife Gunger.

Rector Elchin Babayev noted that BSU closely cooperates and implements joint projects with well-known universities and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK). Elchin Babayev expressed confidence that projects will be implemented with Uskudar University that will benefit our countries and further strengthen cooperation.

The Rector of Uskudar University, Nazife Gunger, said that she is happy to make her first visit to BSU as a Rector. The guest noted that BSU and Uskudar University will conduct research in journalism, biology, psychology, and other areas of education and science.

The cooperation protocol also provides for the implementation of projects on double degree programs and the mutual exchange of faculty and students.
