In accordance with the agreement between BSU and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) a group of teachers of Journalism Faculty led by Aynur Kerimova, head of the Department of Radio and Television Journalism, visited Turkey from 17 to 27 August.

During the visit BSU teachers visited the following universities: Istanbul, Ankara and Gazi State Universities and private Bahcheshehir, Yeditepe, Kadir Khash and Bashkent Universities, as well as TRT Offices in Istanbul and Ankara, the Anatolian Agency and took part in a conference at the University of Gazi.

The rector, academician Abel Maharramov met with delegation after returning from a trip. Rector Abel Maharramov noted the importance of the visit and expressed the hope that it would positively impact the future reform of the Journalism Faculty.
