BSU and TİKA discuss new projects
An online meeting was held between representatives of Baku State University (BSU) and the Baku Office of the Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).
The meeting was attended by the BSU Vice-Rector for International Relations Shahin Panahov, the Head of the International Relations Department Rauf Hasanov, the Senior Specialist Shams Bagirova and TİKA Baku Program Coordinator Teoman Tiryaki.
The meeting noted the high level of interstate relations between the two fraternal peoples and outlined new priorities for mutual implementation between the Turkish universities and BSU. Then the parties discussed new project proposals.
Vice-rector Sh. Panahov proposed to develop a project of joint libraries for the universities of Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Turkey. He emphasized that a joint network system of libraries, resources and scholars of Turkic-speaking countries should be established.
Stressing the successful relations between BSU and many Turkish universities R. Hasanov also touched on the issue of double degree programs between the universities of Turkic-speaking countries, as well as the joint research and teachers and students exchange programs.
